फार्नबोरोस्थित वाक फार्म स्कूलमा शनिवार साँझ भएको प्रतियोगितामा १२ जना प्रतिस्पर्धीहरू पछि पार्दै काठमाडौं स्थायी घर भएकी २३ वर्षीया नविनाले ‘मिस युके नेपाल २०१०’ को शीर्ष उपाधिसहित मिस ट्यालेन्टको उपाधिसमेत जितेकी हुन्।
बिचमा विजेता नबिना गुरूङ, बायाँ फस्ट रनरअप शिलाश्रद्धा लिम्बू र दायाँ सेकेन्ड रनरअप मोनिका लिम्बू। तस्वीरहरूः मिलन तमु, नबिन गुरूङ र लक्ष्मण (HAV)/ एचकेनेपाल डट कम।
प्रतियोगितामा काठमाडौं स्थायी घर भएकी २३ वर्षीया शिलाश्रद्धा लिम्बूले फस्ट रनरअपको उपाधिसहित मिस बेस्ट फिगरको उपाधि जितेकी छिन् भने काठमाडौंकै २१ वर्षीया मोनिका लिम्बूले सेकेन्ड रनरअपको उपाधिसहित मिस पर्सानाल्टीको उपाधि जितेकी छिन्। प्रतियोगिताका विजेता, फस्ट रनरअप तथा सेकेन्ड रनरअपले ताजसहित युके पाउण्ड क्रमशः ८००, ५०० र ३०० जितेका छन्।
त्यसैगरी, टिना पुनले मिस बेस्ट ड्रेस र मिस भ्युवर च्वाइज, प्रमिला गुरूङले मिस फोटोजेनिक र भावना लिम्बूले मिस क्याटवाकको उपाधि जितेका छन्।
विभिन्न क्षेत्रका प्रतिनिधि निर्णायकहरू गायिका शर्मिला बर्देवा (कला तथा साँस्कृतिक क्षेत्र), मेजर रि. डम्बर घले (सामाजिक क्षेत्र), फत्त थापा (शिक्षा क्षेत्र), क्या. रि. बालकृष्ण गुरूङ (खेलकुद क्षेत्र), निना गुरूङ (मिडिया क्षेत्र), कुल आचार्य (व्यवासायिक क्षेत्र) र पुर्णिमा गुरूङ -मिस नेपाल हङकङ २००५ (सौन्दर्य तथा मोडलिङ क्षेत्र) ले गरेको निर्णयको आधारमा टप फाइभ छानिएको थियो।
टप फाइफमा पुगेका नविना गुरूङ, शिलाश्रद्धा लिम्बू, मोनिका लिम्बू, सृष्टी गुरूङ र भावना लिम्बूमध्येबाट गायिका शर्मिला बर्देवाको अन्तिम प्रश्नको उत्तरको आधारमा विजेताहरूको छनौट गरिएको थियो।
बेलायतका लागि नेपाली राजदूत डा. सुरेशचन्द्र चालिसे र गैरआवासीय नेपाली संघ बेलायतका अध्यक्ष सूर्य गुरूङद्वारा संयुक्तरूपमा दीप प्रज्वलन गरि सुरू भएको मिस नेपाल सौन्दर्य प्रतियोगिता कार्यक्रममा चर्चित पप गायक सञ्जीव सिंहलगायत स्थानीय नेपाली कलाकारहरूले मनोरञ्जनात्मक प्रस्तुतीहरू दिएका थिए।
शान्ति गुरूङ र सब्रिना श्रेष्ठले आयोजना गरेको ‘मिस युके नेपाल २०१०’ सौन्दर्य प्रतियोगिताको सञ्चालनमा मूख्य उद्धोषिका लक्ष्मी थापा राईलाई हिमाल भुजेल र प्रीति लिम्बूले साथ दिएका थिए।

मिस युके नेपाल २०१० सौन्दर्य प्रतियोगितामा १७ वर्षदेखि २३ वर्षसम्मका १३ जना सुन्दरीहरूले सहभागिता जनाउंदै छन्। प्रतियोगिताका सहभागी सुन्दरीहरूमा भावना लिम्बू, मोनिका लिम्बू, नविना गुरूङ, निलम गुरूङ, निता पुन, प्रमिला गुरूङ, प्रतिमा गुरूङ, सरला थापा, शिला श्रद्धा लिम्बू, सृष्टि गुरूङ, तबी लिम्बू, तेजु गुरूङ र टिना पुन रहेका छन्।
सहभागी सुन्दरीहरूलाई निर्णायकहरू ममिता गुरूङ (मिस नेपाल हङकङ २०००), रोशन लिम्बू (मिस्टर नेपाल हङकङ १९९८), पूर्णिमा गुरूङ (मिस नेपाल हङकङ २००५), सब्रिना श्रेष्ठ (मिस ट्यालेन्ट हण्ट २००६ फस्ट रनरअप), सुस्मिता गुरूङ (मिस ट्यालेन्ट हण्ट हङकङ २००७), लारा थापा राई (मिस ट्यालेन्ट हण्ट हङकङ संस्थापक) र कलाकार ध्रुब दत्तले अन्तिम प्रतिस्पर्धाका लागि छनौट गरेका हुन्।

1 . Why only girls again?
2. why always girls contest? Is it because they can attract boys?
3. Do you think only girls can do those catwalk and so on?
Anywayz to conclude this; I am young guy who’s 18 years old and have got talent especially in playing guitar and singing a song and I’ve also got interest in modeling
but you guys are not opening a contest for boys like us.
Its really unfair to us.If its like this going on then I don’t boys can survive in this world.
These days people alwasy concern on girls not boys.Whenever we go to find jobs, they always take girls instead of us. It’s been a huge discrimination regarding this issue so what I want is also please give a chance to us.
Likewise;I am happy to see in Hong Kong that they just recently did Mr.& Miss. International Talent Hunt Hong Kong 2010,that is really impressive and I also wanted to join but u see I am in UK.I think if I was there,I’d have won the main winner title of the year. I wish I was there!.

What is beauty anyway?

The inner attributes of a person must be of high quality for the person to be considered truly beautiful. Yehea…HK ma hamro Jagat is the best one because he never does the editting thing, he just so perfectly take the picture and without editing and wasting time, he just attached it and show people the real and natural pictures.
