चिन्तनका विरुद्ध गेसो सभापति गुरुङको हुंकार

गोरखा भूतपूर्व सैनिक संघ (गेसो)का सभापति पदमबहादुर गुरुङले कुनै बेला आफ्ना निकटम सहयोगी रहेका गेसोका कानुनी सल्लाहकार गोपाल चिन्तनको कडा शव्दमा आलोचना गरेका छन्।
सभापति गुरुङले हालै सलिना थापामगरको नाममा गोपाल चिन्तनले फैलाएको इमेल आतंकले भूपू गोर्खा सैनिककी छोरीको जीवन बर्बाद गर्न लागेको आरोपसमेत लगाएका छन्। ‘एउटी महिलालाई आफ्नो पञ्जामा फसाउन र उनको जवानीलाई ब्लाकमेल गर्न त्यो इमेल आतंक फैलाइएको स्पष्ट छ।’

- गोपाललाई मेरो चुनौती छ लण्डनमा सधैँ बसिरहन आवासीय अधिकार हात पार्न लाहुरेकी कुमारी छोरीको जीन्दगी बर्बाद मात्र गर त तिम्रो के हालत हुँदोरहेछ ? यसको हिसाबकिताब भविष्यले नै गर्ने छ।
- अरुसित विवाह हुन लागेकी गोरखा भूतपूर्व सैनिककी कुमारी छोरीलाई बदनाम गरी आफ्नो राक्षसी पञ्जामा फसाउन गोपाल यतिसम्म गिर्दा रहेछन्, यति निकृष्ट रुप देखाउन सक्दारहेछन् भन्ने मैले कल्पना पनि गरेको थिइनँ।
- गोपाल चिन्तनजी नेपालका आदिवासी जनजाति समुदायका लाहुरेहरु केही नजानेका बुद्दु र वेवकुफ छन् उनीहरुलाई जे गरे पनि कसैले थाहा पाउँदैन भन्ने सोच राखेको भए त्यो दिवास्वप्न मात्र हुने छ। तपाईले गेसोलाई ठगेको, ब्लाकमेल गरेको म मेरो एक मुठ्ठी प्राण छउञ्जेल छोड्ने छैन।
थप विवरणको लागि सभापति गुरूङले पुष १९ गते जारी गरेको प्रेस विज्ञप्ति
विभिन्न बाह्य तथा आन्तरिक कारणले मेरो आत्मसम्मानमा समेत आघात पुगेको महसुस भई मैले नैतिक तथा बाध्यताका आधारमा केही कारणहरु देखाइ मिति २०६५ मंसिर ३० गते सभापति पदबाट राजीनामा दिएको थिएँ।
राजीनामा दिएर म मेरो जन्मस्थान स्याङ्जा, फेदीखोलाको कुडुलेमा गएर बसिरहेको थिएँ। मेरो राजीनामाको समाचार विभिन्न सञ्चारमाध्यमबाट प्रचारप्रसार भएपछि देश विदेशबाट हजारौँ भूपू सैनिक दाजुभाइ तथा दिदीबहिनीहरुले भावविभोर हुँदै तपाईले राजीनामा दिन पाउनुहुन्न, तपाई नै नेतृत्वमा रहनुपर्छ भन्ने रायसुझाव र दबाब मेरो मोवाइलमा फोन गरी दिनुभयो। मेरो राजीनामाका कारण केही ठाउँमा त रुवाबासी नै भएको खबर पनि प्राप्त भइरहेको थियो।
आज मिति २०६५ पुस १९ गते काठमाडौँ आई गेसो कार्यालयमा जाँदा केन्द्रीय पदाधिकारीहरुले तपाईको राजीनामा स्वीकृत भएन भन्ने कुरा औपचारिकरुपमा जानकारी गराउनु भयो। गेसोका सम्पूर्ण पदाधिकारीहरु, शुभचिन्तक तथा भूपू सैनिक दाजुभाइ दिदीबहिनीको यी सबै भावनाको अति सम्मान र कदर गर्दै अब उप्रान्त ममाथि जेजस्ता बाधा अड्चन र समस्याहरु आइपरे पनि, घरबार त्याग्नु परे पनि, हिजोभन्दा अझ सशक्त ढंगले म यो राष्ट्रियता र समानताको आन्दोलनमा, हजारौँ गोरखा भूतपूव सैनिक दाजुभाइ, दिदीबहिनी र तिनका परिवारका सवालमा एक मुठी प्राण छउञ्जेल रचनात्मक कार्यक्रमका साथ अघि बढ्ने दृढ संकल्प यसै वक्तब्यमार्फत गर्दछु।
यसका साथै, म केन्द्रमा आइसकेपछि गेसोका आदरणीय उपसभापति कृष्णकुमार राईले कुनै एउटा सलिना थापामगरको नामबाट गेसोका कानुनी सल्लाहकार गोपाल सिवाकोटी चिन्तन र उर्मिला भाञ्जीका सम्बन्धमा इमेलमा आएको सामग्री मलाई देखाउनुभयो। त्यसलगत्तै गोपाल सिवाकोटी चिन्तनले बेलायतबाट प्रकाशित हुने युरोपको नेपालीपत्र पत्रिकामा मिति २०६५ पुस १६-२२ गतेको अंकमा प्रकाशित गेसो अब के हुने हो शीर्षकको लेख देखाउनुभयो। लेख र इमेलमा पठाइएको पत्रमा व्यक्त विचार र आशयप्रति मेरो गम्भीर ध्यानाकर्षण भएको छ।
यस सम्बन्धमा सम्पूर्ण भूतपूर्व सैनिक दाजुभाइ, दिदीबहिनी तथा गैर भूपू विद्धान र बुद्धिजीवीहरुमा म विनम्रतापूर्वक के भन्न चाहन्छु भने जुन सलिना थापामगरको नामबाट इमेलमा गोपाल सिवाकोटी चिन्तन र उर्मिला भाञ्जी बीचको सम्बन्धका बारेमा चर्चा चलाइयो त्यो चलाउने सलिना अरु कोही नभएर आफूलाई मानवअधिकारवादी वकिल बताउने गोपाल सिवाकोटी चिन्तन नै हुन्। एउटी महिलालाई आफ्नो पञ्जामा फसाउन र उनको जवानीलाई ब्लाकमेल गर्न त्यो इमेल आतंक फैलाइएको स्पष्ट छ। म तपाईहरुलाई ठोकुवाका साथ भन्छु यो इमेल गोपाल चिन्तनले सलिनाको नामबाट आफैले डाफ्ट गरेर नेपालस्थित आफ्नो कार्यालयका कर्मचारीहरुलाई इण्टरनेट मार्फत प्रचारप्रसार गर्न अह्राए अनुसार भएको हो।
अर्को शब्दमा भन्ने हो भने गोपाल चिन्तन आफैँ बोक्सी आफैँ धामी भएको हो। हामीले उनलाई कानुनी सल्लाहकार राखेको हो उनको व्यक्तिगत सम्बन्धका बारेमा गेसो र मलाई कुनै चासो थिएन। उनले त मलाई र चन्द्रबहादुर गुरुंगलाई पो आफ्नो प्रेमसम्बन्धको विरुद्ध पर्चावाजी गरेको आरोप लगाएछन्। म गोपाललाई चुनौतीका साथ भन्छु उनमा अलिकति पनि हिम्मत छ भने जनसमुदायको अगाडि मेरो आम्नेसाम्ने भएर यस विषयमा खुला बहस गरुन्।
जहाँसम्म उनले लेखमा चार वर्षदेखि आफूहरुबीच सहबास भएको भन्ने लेखेका छन् आफूलाई मानवअधिकारवादी वकिल हुँ भन्ने गोपाल चिन्तनलाई यस बारेमा मेरो प्रश्न छ तपाईमा अलिकति नैतिकता र विवेक छ कि छैन? यदि नैतिकता र विवेक छ भने अर्काको कुमारी छोरीसित तपाईजस्तो मानवअधिकारकर्मी हुँ भन्ने, झण्डै साठी वर्ष उमेर पुग्न लागेको मान्छेले कथित सलिना थापामगरकै शब्दमा आफ्नो छोरोभन्दा सानो उमेरको महिलासित त्यस्तो कुरा गर्न सुहाउँछ ? म धेरै भूपू सैनिकका छोराछोरीलाई चिन्छु त्यसमध्ये पनि उर्मिलालाई धेरै नजिकबाट चिन्छु।
मैले जाने बुझेसम्म उर्मिला धेरै सुशील र नैतिकवान छोरी हुन्। गोपालले उनीमाथि लगाएको आरोपको म विश्वास गर्दिनँ। यो बिल्कूल गोपालको ब्यालमेल हो, उर्मिलाले त्यस्तो काम गर्न सक्दिनन्। चार वर्षअघि मात्र होइन आठ वर्षदेखि गोपाल के गर्थ्यो, कहाँ कहाँ बस्थ्यो ? मलाई राम्रोसित थाहा छ। गोपालले उर्मिलासित चार वर्षदेखि सहबास थियो भन्नु एउटी भूतपूर्व गोरखा सैनिककी छोरीको चरित्र हत्या गर्नु हो। एउटी कुमारी केटीको जीवन बर्बाद गर्ने र उनको केही समयपछि नै हुन लागेको विवाह तहसनहस गर्ने चिन्तनको निकृष्ट कार्य हो यो।
अरुसित विवाह हुन लागेकी गोरखा भूतपूर्व सैनिककी कुमारी छोरीलाई बदनाम गरी आफ्नो राक्षसी पञ्जामा फसाउन गोपाल यतिसम्म गिर्दा रहेछन्, यति निकृष्ट रुप देखाउन सक्दारहेछन् भन्ने मैले कल्पना पनि गरेको थिइनँ। गोरखा भूपू सैनिककी कुमारी छोरीमाथि धावा बोल्ने चिन्तनलाई मेरो प्रश्न छ तिमीले अहिलेसम्म कत्तिको जीन्दगी यसरी बर्बाद गरिसक्यौँ मानवअधिकारवादी वकिल गोपालजी।
आफ्नै श्रीमतीसित न सम्बन्ध न सम्बन्ध विच्छेद गरेर के बेहाल बनायौ ? आफ्नै कार्यालयमा काम गर्ने सहकर्मीको जीवन कसरी तहसनहस बनायौ ? गोपाललाई मेरो चुनौती छ लण्डनमा सधैँ बसिरहन आवासीय अधिकार हात पार्न लाहुरेकी कुमारी छोरीको जीन्दगी बर्बाद मात्र गर त तिम्रो के हालत हुँदोरहेछ ? यसको हिसाबकिताब भविष्यले नै गर्ने छ।
अहिलेसम्म गोपाल सिवाकोटी चिन्तनले गेसोको कानुनी सल्लाहकार रहँदारहँदै बेलायतबाट प्रकाशित हुने नेपाली पत्र पत्रिकामा तथा विभिन्न इमेलमार्फत मेरो र गेसोको बारेमा जेजस्ता दिग्भ्रम फैलाउने कुचेष्टा गरे यी सम्पूर्ण कुराहरुका बारेमा वास्तविकता के हो त ? गोपालले आठ वर्षसम्म गेसोमा बसेर काम गरेँ भन्ने दाबी गरे पनि यी आठ वर्ष उनले कति दिन र कति घण्टा गेसोमा काम गरे भन्ने सम्बन्धमा प्रमाणसहित जानकारी गराउन, भूपू सैनिकहरुलाई के कस्ता ब्लाकमेल गराए भन्ने पर्दाफास गर्न, गेसोलाई मात्र होइन नेपालका राजनीतिक पार्टी बुद्धिजीवी, पत्रकारलाई उनले फैलाएका भ्रमको भण्डाफोर गर्न, गोपाल चिन्तनले पटक-पटक आफ्नो नाममा मात्र नभई अधिवक्ता निरु श्रेष्ठ, रविन्द्र सुवेदी र रतन भण्डारीका नाममा गेसो र मबाट के कति पैसा असुल गरे, हजारौँ भूपू सैनिकको पेन्सनको मुद्दालाई गोपाल र फिल साइनर मिलेर कसरी कामै नलाग्ने बनाइदिए, गोपाल चिन्तनले कहिलेबाट कसरी गेसोमा काम गर्न छोडेका हुन्, पेन्सन सम्बन्धी मुद्दा छाडेका बारेमा गेसो र नेपालका बुद्धिवीजीलाई उनले किन जानकारी गराएनन्, फिल साइनरसित अहिले नाटकीय बोलचाल बन्द गर्नुको कारण के हो, बेलायतको एमओडीबाट उनले कति पैसा लिएका छन् र त्यो पैसा भारतको केरलाको कुन बैँकमा राखेका छन् ? यी लगायतका विषयहरुमा सम्पूर्ण भूतपूर्व सैनिक दाजुभाइ र स्वाभिमानी नेपाली दाजुभाइहरुलाई जानकारी गराउन युरोपको नेपालीपत्र पत्रिकाका प्रकाशक तथा सम्बन्धित आधिकारिक व्यक्तिसित म विनम्र अनुरोध पनि गर्दछु। त्यसका लागि अबका छ महिना मेरो लेखलाई नियमित स्तम्भ दिनका लागि पनि म औपचारिक रुपमा अनुरोध गर्दछु।

जहाँसम्म भीसी तुलबहादुर पुनको २२ सय पाउण्ड गोपालले हिनामिना गरेको सवाल छ यो मैले र चन्द्रबहादुर गुरुंगले लगाएको आरोप होइन। भिसीकी श्रीमती पुनीसराको नक्कली हस्ताक्षर गरेर चिन्तनले पैसा निकालेको भन्ने कुरा र सही (हस्ताक्षर) मेरो होइन भन्ने कुरा भीसीकी श्रीमती पुनीसराले भनिसकेकी छिन्। यो कुरा म र चन्द्रबहादुरले भन्दा पनि भिसीको छोरा विकाससित सोध्दा स्पष्ट हुने छ।
अन्त्यमा करिब १८ महिनादेखि बेलायतमा बसेर गोपालले युरोपको नेपालीपत्रमार्फत म, गेसो र गेसोको वर्तमान वकिलको विरुद्धमा किन यसरी ज्यान फालेर लागेका छन् भन्दा गोपाल र फिल साइनरले अब गेसोको मुद्दा हामी दुई जनाले सबै समाप्त पारिसक्यौँ, गेसोको पेन्सनको मुद्दा पनि लाग्दैन, इमीग्रेसन सम्बन्धी मुद्दा पनि लाग्दैन र अब गेसो लण्डनदेखि नेपालसम्म सबै खत्तम हुन्छ भनेर गोपाल सन् २००५ को जुलाई महिनादेखि नै गेसोको कामबाट बिलकूल अलग भएका थिए।
तर गेसोका केन्द्रीय पदाधिकारी र चन्द्रबहादुर गुरुगको पाँच/छ महिनादेखिको अथक प्रयासले गेसोको वर्तमान वकिलको टीम फेला परिसकेपछि फिल साइनर र गोपालले कामै नलाग्ने बनाएको मुद्दाको पोल खुल्ने भएकोले उनले बेलायतमा बसेर बेलायतका भूपू सैनिक र तिनका परिवारहरुलाई आफूले गरेको गल्ती, ब्रिगेड अफ् गोरखाजबाट लिएको पैसा र सम्पूर्ण कुरा लुकाउन तथा भूपू सैनिकबीचमा भ्रम फैलाउनका निमित्त बेलायतबाट प्रकाशित हुने युरोपको नेपालीपत्र पत्रिकामा स्तम्भ मागी लेख लेख्दै आएका छन्। शायद नेपाली पत्रपत्रिकालाई यो कुरा थाहा छैन ।
गोपालले गरेका सबै कुकृत्यहरु सबै भूपू सैनिक दाजुभाइ, दिदीबहिनीहरुमाझमा आधिकारिकरुपमा ल्याउन नेपालीपत्रसित मैले नियमित स्तम्भको माग गरेको हुँ। मलाई पूर्ण विश्वास छ नेपालीपत्रले मेरो अनुरोध शायद अस्वीकार गर्दैन होला।

I read all press relese given by our chairman and I understood Gaeso knew about his acitivities since 2005 and what are we doing and why we could not sack him. This is no point telling all old stories now and if we were in right diriection and transparent then why you were afriad of him. Tell all ex servicemen now how transparect you (Gaeso) are, publish full financial audit report carried out by registered accountant and list out honestly all works Gaeso done so far. This is the time we you prove all how good or bad Gaeso is. We may take action against Gopal but do we have any significatn evidence to prove against him in the court or only wofling?

The main reason of Sikkim and Nepal alchohal drinkar(Matawali)
Sudra political consciousness is influenced by the political thoughts of Kathmandu residents Gopal Gurung’s book(The unseen truth in politics of Nepal) and Sitaram Tamang, Bhuindal Rai, Padma Ratna Tuladhar, Gore Bahadur Khapangi magar,MS Thapa Magar, Bir Nembang, Chhiten Sherpa, Kajiman Kandangwa and Subas Ghising of Darjeeling. Today the above mentioned bood in great number is being distributed and pubicised all over Sikkim. Almost all the alchohal drinkars(Matawalis) have read it threrefrom forming their own ethnic orgaqnizations ,they have started playing plotics in the name of language, culture and tradition. They have even become able to go to the villlages for consultation(discussion) and advice.
2.Tiday in Sikkim the alchohal drinkars(Matawali) Rai, Limbu,Gurung,Magar, Newar,Tamang,Sherpa and Sunuwar forming their own union and organization are trying to bring consciousness to their own people. We do not lose anything from it rather we gain political benefit from it but it is feared that in case they unitedly land in political arena like in Nepal our BIRTHRIGHT TO RULE will go to their hands. If the regime will go to these Matawalis and we shall be ruined because we have come to the world to rule. It is said in the Rig Veda “bahun came out of brahma’s mouth, chhetri came from arms, from the udra from Bahuns foot.”
Still Manu has said “it is sudras religion and duty to serve bahun.Bahun even by birth only they are the best”
In verses in the Vedas, Sudras, Matawali are of mean birth and even if the shadows of these people fall over us, we are purified only by water ablution or having an audience of the sun. By no means we should not let the people of this class to climb over our head. It will be ominous and our caste and religion will be ruined if the louse of underpant climbs over our head.
3.Now we the TAQGADHARIS should work unitedly and not being divided in party and other matters. The heads of governments of Sikkim and of Nepal are of our people. The knowledge and wisdom to rule is restricted only to us. We must help Mr Nr bahadur Bhandari Ji in politics by heart and soul, money and manpower. For the sake of our caste security ,we should not divide ourselves in trivial matters. We should shun selfishness only then our aim and right will be preserved.
4.Whoever wants to become a leader from the Matawalis, by any means we got to destroy him, calling him a communalist,traitor,antisociel, immoral, corrupt, giving various names to be spread so that their own people will fear to go along with him and hate him. If he is labelled as communalist, he will become like an unuseable coin. Even if it does not work, we must not hesitate even to apply DHARMADATTA FORMULA.
It it necessary to get votes from these Matawalis to keep Sikki government in our hand and we must be able to make quarrel among themselvs and always make disintegrated among themselves to get support from them , like the British were able to rule India for hundreds of years making division among caste.
It is our victory not to let these Matawalis class to integrate.

There’s no diffrences between Chintan and Padam. The time will tell us. They are just pretendng towards Gurkhas. Look behind the past, Who did what. And any one noticed that what Padam and Chintan said back in 2004 when the Gurkhas just got settlement right. There’s still in record on BBC Nepali radio. Gurkha friends don’t just jumped in dark pound. Read carefully all the subjects. There’s no meaning to bark among ourselves. Try to go on reality. From the comments I have read so far, I feel that:
1. It is time that GAESO publishes ALL its financial data (income and expenditure) so that the public can see where the money came from and where it went (including any that went to Mr Chintan, if it really did). If GAESO does NOT publish ALL financial accounts then ANY statement about Chintan stealing money from their coffers sounds FICTIONAL.
2. If Chintan is in UK he can have sexual intercourse with consenting adults over the age of 18 and he does not need consent from anyone else (including parents or the society) - so let us not focus on who you or I marry or have sex with. Having sex or affair with consenting adults, no matter what the age gap is, does not make somone inferior in Britain. If Gopal boasted about this affair then just treat this as his “greatest” achievement so far.
3. People intending to waste their time by shoe-garlanding Chintan in Kathmandu and making him as popular as former ministers who were shoe-garlanded in various times: I suggest you spend your time and resources into something productive (such as cleaning your streets around your house/Ratna Park, donating blood, repairing schools, planting some trees in barren hills, growing vegetables in your own garden).
I am not in favours of GAESO or Chintan but I think everyone should be fair and transparent. If you are productive and engage in useful things then you help build your society and the nation.
Let us use our resources and energy to GOOD causes ONLY.

So many happened within the GAESO but you guys kepr us in dark whcih is not transparent at all. If it is not ransperant then there must be something irregular within GAESO. Most of peopels were askiong for financial audit report for ages but non available to this date. I also raised theis question to Padamjin in Hong Kong but told us this is all kept in office and records are there and any one can come and see but in reality there is nothing if they had one they could have published one by now.
I fully respect Padamji he is poineer of the Gurkha case every one will agree with it howver why we all other Gurkha orgabisation could not be together and fight for the good cause. Series of meeting was organised and GAESO refused to come so it shows there must be some differences and irregularities within GAESO.

Has any one received any feed back from GAESO executive committee yet if not why they are keeping their mouth shut. May be they might have done grave mistake eithin GAESO so they did not have choice so that better keep quite. If these commenta are related to GAESO why one of executive member can not response to all so that will make every one clear. If you made a mistake this is time to make it right if you still try to hide some thing than you all feel sorry for the rest of your life. May be you are all enoying name and fame so far because of GAESO but not any more.

In the ancient text such as veda, the mongoloid looking people were called KIRATAS.
Let me qoute some paragraphs from the book (KIRATA-JANA-KRTI) bySuniti Kumar Chatterji.
The name Kirata is for the first time found in the Yajurveda (Sukla Yajurveda, Vajasaneya, XXX, 16;
also Krsna Yajurveda, Taittiriya Brahmana, III, 4,12,1).
In connexion with the Purusa-medha or ‘Man-Offering’ sacrifice, where a list of all kinds of human beings and animals symbolically or figuratively offered to the gods as sacrifice is given, we find the following passage:–
guhabhyah Kiratam; sanubhyo Jambhakam; paravatebhyah Kimpurusam
which upon translation will read ‘A Kirata, for the caves; a Jambhaka (long-toothed man?) for the slopes;
a Kimpurusa (an ugly man, a wild man, an ape?) for the mountains.’
Then in the Atharvaveda (X,4,14) we have a reference to a Kirata girl (Kairatika) who digs a herbal remedy on the ridges of the mountains:–
Kairatika kumarika saka khanati bhesajam:
hiranyayibhir abhribhir girinam upa sanusu.
‘The young maid of Kirata race, a little damsel, digs the drug:
Digs it with shovels wrought of gold on the high ridges of the hills.’

“Macdonell and Keith have the following note in their Vedic Index on Kirata:
‘Kirata is a name applied to a people living in the caves of the mountains, as appears clearly from the dedication of the Kirata to the caves in Vajasaneyi Samhita (also Taittiriya Brahmana), and from the reference to a Kirata girl, who digs a remedy on the ridges of the mountains.
The Manava Dharma-sastra regards the Kiratis as degraded Ksatriyas (ref. X, 44).’
When a non-Aryan or foreign people is describes in an old Indian text as being of degraded Kshatriya origin,
there is always an implication that they were, to some extend at least, advanced in civilisation or military organisation”. — Suniti Kumar Chatterji (KIRATA-JANA-KRTI
KIRATAS are described in the ancient text as ‘gold-like’, i.e, yellow in color (and not dark or black like the Dasas and Dasyus and the Nisadas and other pre-Aryan peoples as i have already wrote it down earlier.
Here’s the qoute from the the book taken from Kirata-parvan section of Varna-parvan of the Mahabharata.
Kairatam vesam asthaya kancana-druma-sannibham
“Taking up a Kirata resemblance, like unto a tree of gold” (IV,35,2);
dadarsatha tato jisnuh purusam kancana-prabham
“Then the Victorious One(Arjuna) saw a Man, shining like gold” (IV, 35,17);
na tvam asmin vana ghore bibhesi kanaka-prabha
“O thou that art shining like gold (addressing Siva in the form of Kirata), dost thou not fear in this terrible forest” (IV, 35, 18)
As with all the Mongolian people of Nepal, their color (yellow) of their skin matches the one described in this ancient texts.
The Ramayana mentions the golden color of the Kiratas; thus
Kiratasca tiksna-cudasca hemabhah priya-darsanah,
antar-jala-cara ghora nara-vyaghra iti srutah
(Kiskindhya-Kanda, 40, 27, 28, qouted by N.N Vasu)
upon translation is The Kiratas, with hair done in pointed top-knots, pleasant to look upon, shining like gold, able to move under water,
terrible, veritable tiger-men, so are they famed.
Now tell me what’s the color of your skin?
Unless you are not yellow, then your roots must be from elsewhere.
But all the Mongoloid people in Nepal are ‘gold-like’ (yellow).
Therefore all these ancient works are not referring to Kiratas as only Rai and Limbu but all the Mongoloid people.
Secondly The Kiratas in Sanskrit (Sanskrit: किरात) mentioned in early Hindu texts are the tribals of the forest and mountains
with this sanskrit phrase “kiram atati bhramati yah”
Now isn’t all the mongoloid people of Nepal indigenious(adivasi).
In ancient Hindu scriptures, Nepal is referred as the “Kirat Desh” or “the Land of Kirats”.
Even the scholars have pointed out that the Mongoloid people in Nepal are KIRATAS as qouted below.
“The ancient Kirantis of Nepal, a very powerful people in the neighbourhood of the tribes on the northern frontier of the Himalayas are said to to have held dominion down to the delta of the Ganges. They were both short and tall in straure having well-formed face, fair complexion, small, as well as large oval eyes, scantly beards, short nose, etc. Hodgson has placed the complex pronominalized language of Nepal under the head of Kiranti, which is connected with the Tibeto-Burman group. The most powerful section of the Kirantis who settled down in the Valley of Nepal in ancient times, probably in the pre-Christian era, are identified with the present days Kiratas, i.e Kulung, Thulung and Yellung. The Newaris who are happen to be one of the oldest inhabitants of Nepal Valley are also identified with the Kiratas. They are supposed to have lived between Gandaki and Sunkosi. In support of this identification, it has been noted Newari names of Patan Yellai is a changed form of Yellung Kiratas. By no stretch of imagination, the Newaris, Gurungs, Magars and Lepchas can be identified with the Kiratas. The Thadus or Tharus occupying the Tarai region from Nepal and eastern Rohilkhanda along the frontiers of Oudh to Gorakhpur are supposed to be identical with the Kiratas. The great bulk of them are now subjects of Nepal Government.” by G.P Singh (The Kiratas in Ancient India), 1990
Hence since the dawn of the mankind, we mongoloid people were living in ancient India. With the advent of Aryan from Perisa into
Indus valley, we Mongoloid were already living as tribes of the forest and mountains.
The two races(aryan and mongoloid) collided and the Aryan refer Mongoloid as KIRATAS as mentioned by the the Vajasaneyi Samhita of the Shukla Yajurveda
which refers Kiratas as cave dwellers. See above.
With the expansion of the Aryan civilization, the KIRATAS in ancient India slowly disintergrated but were never defeated.
G.P Singh in his book “The Kiratas in Ancient India” 1990,
quoted this from the ancient work of India,
“those who are braves cannot be extinguish” referring to KIRATAS.
Conclusion All Mongoloids are descended of the Kirata and therefore we should be united as one again.
