गेसोमा मेरो आबद्धता र वास्तविकता

विगत केही समय यता हाम्रो प्यारो आन्दोलनकारी संस्था गोर्खा भूतपूर्व सैनिक संघ (गेसो) का सभापतिका हैसियतले पदमबहादुर गुरुङले विगत आठ वर्षदेखि निरन्तररूपमा यस संस्थाको पूर्णकालीन कानुनी सल्लाहकार तथा अभियानकर्ता रही काम गर्दैआएको व्यक्ति ममाथि सार्वजनिकरूपमा लगाएका आरोपहरूप्रति मेरो गम्भीर ध्यानाकर्षण भएको छ।  Your browser does not support inline frames or is currently configured not to display inline frames.

सभापति गुरुङका यी आरोपहरू विभिन्न बदनियतबाट प्रेरित भएको स्पष्ट छ। यी सबै कुराहरूको सबिस्तार खण्डन उपयुक्त समयमा हुने नै छ। यदि सभापति गुरुङले यी आरोपहरू आगामी जनवरी २५ तारिखभित्र पनि फिर्ता लिनुभएन वा सार्वजनिकरूपमा तिनलाई प्रमाणित गर्नुभएन भने वहाँका विरुद्ध प्रचलित कानुनबमोजिम नेपालदेखि बेलायतसम्म गाली बेइज्जति र क्षतिपूर्तिका अनेकौँ मुद्दाहरू हाल्न पनि बाध्य हुनुपर्ने चेतावनी दिन चाहन्छु।

मैले डिसेम्बर ७, २००७ तथा त्यसपछिका दिनहरूमा समेत विभिन्न पत्रहरू लेखी सभापति गुरुङ तथा गेसोको केन्द्रीय समितिसमक्ष संगठन, मुद्दामामिला र आन्दोलनसम्बन्धी विभिन्न सवालहरू उठाएको कुरा युरोपको नेपालीपत्र (२०६५ पौष १६-२२) मा प्रकाशित हाम्रो प्रिय गेसो अब के हुने हो ! शीर्षकको मेरो अन्तिम लेखमार्फत पनि सबैलाई अवगत भएकै होला। त्यसपछि नै सभापति गुरुङ यी सवालहरूलाई उचित ढंगले सम्बोधन गर्नुको सट्टा गेसोको केन्द्रीय समिति, शाखा समिति र बुद्धिजीवी सल्लाहकारहरूलाई समेत भ्रममा पार्दै मेराविरुद्ध निर्लज्जरुपमा साम, दाम, दण्ड र भेदका सबै हतियारहरू प्रयोग गर्न मैदानमा उत्रनुभएको हो। यसबीचमा आन्तरिकरूपमै यी समस्याहरू समाधान गर्नका लागि र गेसोबाट मलाई आधिकारिकरुपमा बिदा दिन वा ससम्मान काममा लगाउनका लागि भएका सबै प्रयासहरू पनि असफल भएका थिए।

सभापति गुरुङ तथा गेसो केन्द्रीय समितिसमक्ष उठाइएका सवाल तथा असहमतिहरू निम्नबमोजिम थिएः
-१) विगतमा बचन दिएअनुसार संस्थाको सम्पूर्ण हिसाबकिताब पारदर्शी हुनुपर्ने,
-२) मैले लिएको सबै रकमको बीलभरपाई दिनुपर्ने,
-३) हृवो एन्ड को. ले सर्रतबमोजिम गोर्खा अफर् टु ट्रान्सफर (न्इत्त्) का विरूद्ध पेन्सनको मुद्दा नहालेकोबारे सार्वजनिक जवाफ दिनुपर्ने,
-४) मेरो काम, कर्तव्य, अधिकार र सुविधाको किटान हुनुपर्ने,
-५) व्यापकरूमा गेसो युकेको संगठन विस्तार हुनुपर्ने,
-६) सतप्रतिशत कानुनी सहायता पाएको अवस्थामा आवासीय भिसाको फारम भर्न ५०० पाउण्ड उठाउने कार्य अनुचित भएकाले रोक्नुपर्ने तथा उठाएको रकम फिर्ता गर्नुपर्ने, र
-७) आन्दोलनको वर्तमान अवस्थामा गेसोलाई एमालेको भ्रातृसंगठनका रूपमा अघि बढाउने सोच बदल्नुपर्ने।
यी समस्याहरू छँदाछँदै पनि म लण्डनमै रहेर गेसोको हितमा आफ्ना काम र अभियानहरू जारी राखेपछि सभापति गुरुङ मेराविरूद्ध आक्रोषले झनै विक्षिप्त भएर सबै मानमर्यादा तोड्दै ममाथि जथाभावी आक्रमक हुन थाल्नुभयो। गेसोजस्तो हामी सबैको रगत र पसिनाले स्थापित लडाकु संस्थाको इज्जत र प्रतिष्ठा तथा गेसोको सभापतिजस्तो मर्यादित पद र हैसियतलाई समेत कुल्चेर मेरो निजी जीवनमाथि पनि अतिक्रमण गर्न थाल्नुभयो। केही सीप नलागेपछि गत सालको सेप्टेम्बर महिनामा हामी भीसी हाउसमा एकैसाथ रहेका बेला वहाँ मेरो आदरणीय अभिभावक बन्दै रोहवरमा मेरी प्रेमिका उर्मिला मगरसँग विवाहको कुरा छिनिदिने तथा भीसी दम्पत्तिका हातबाट हामी दुबै जनालाई आशिर्वाद दिँदै दशैँ टिकाको चाँजोसमेत मिलाउने सभापति गुरुङजस्तो परम मित्र नै अहिले उर्मिलालाई मबाट छुटाउनका लागि मरिमेटेर लाग्नुभएको छ। उर्मिला र मेरो निजी जीवन तथा हाम्रो उज्ज्वल भविष्यका विरुद्ध फतवा घोषणा गर्नुभएको छ। उर्मिलालाई कहिले मजस्तो व्यक्तिसँग कहिल्यै प्रेम नगर्ने शालिन महिला त कहिले मेरी यौनदासी भन्दै गेसोका तर्फबाट वक्तव्यको बाढी चलाउनुभएको छ। सकेसम्म हामी दुबैको चरित्रहत्यामा लाग्नुभएको छ। मलाई जसरी भए पनि बेलायतबाट उठिबास लगाउने घोषणा गर्दै मेरो भिसासमेत रद्द गर्ने योजनामा दौडिनुभएको छ। उर्मिलासँग मेरो विवाह भएको खण्डमा म पनि बेलायतमा स्थायी बासिन्दा हुनसक्ने सोचेर वहाँ असाध्यै आँत्तिनुभएको छ जबकि बेलालत बसेर गोर्खा अभियानमा सक्रिय रहिरहनका निमित्त मलाई उर्मिला वा अरू कसैको पनि आवश्यकता पर्दैन। तर पनि उर्मिला र मेराबीचको जीवनमरणको मित्रता र विवाहबन्धनको तयारीलाई भत्काउन अनेकौँ षडयन्त्र र कीर्तेजालसाँजीमा लाग्नुभएको छ। सबैभन्दा दुःखको कुरा त, मेरो निजी जीवन भताभुङ्ग पार्न र उर्मिलालाई चरित्रहीन नारी साबित गर्नका लागि गेसोजस्तो मर्यादित संस्थालाई समेत नाङ्गोरुपमा मुछ्नुभएको छ। उर्मिला र मेरो प्रेमसम्बन्धका बारेमा विभिन्न नक्कली वा असली नामबाट फैलाइएका भ्रमहरूका बारेमा निकट भविष्यमा नै सबै वास्तविकताहरू सार्वजनिक गर्ने नै छु तथा अन्तिम घडीसम्म पनि उनीसँगको प्रेमसम्बन्ध र सहयात्रा कायम गर्ने आफ्नो प्रयास जारी नै राख्नेछु।

तसर्थ आन्दोलनको यस कठीन घडी र संगठनभित्रको दुःखद परिस्थितिमा म सम्पूर्ण गेसो परिवार तथा गोर्खा समुदायलाई आवश्यक धैर्य धारण गर्न एवम् वास्तविकता बुझेरमात्र मेरा बारेमा कुनै पनि टिप्पणीहरू गरिदिनु हुन हार्दिक अनुरोध गर्दछु। खासगरी, गेसोको केन्द्रीय समिति तथा यसका सल्लाहकारहरूलाई अत्यन्तै गम्भीर र जिम्मेवार भएर सभापति गुरुङले ममाथि लगाएका सम्पूर्ण झुठा आरोपहरूको तत्कालै स्वतन्त्र छानबीन गर्न विशेष माग गर्दछु। अन्यथा सभापति गुरुङले आफ्ना गल्तीहरू छोप्नका लागि ममाथि लगाएका यी सम्पूर्ण निराधार आरोपहरूको खण्डन गर्ने तथा आवश्यक परेमा मुद्दामामिलासमेत गर्ने सिलसिलामा सार्वजनिक हुनसक्ने कुनै पनि अप्रिय कुरा र तिनका दुष्परिणामहरूप्रति स्वयम् गेसो केन्द्रीय समिति नै मुख्यरूपमा जिम्मेवार हुनुपर्ने बेहोरा पनि अवगत गराउन चाहन्छु। साथै यसबीचमा मेरा विषयमा वा विरूद्धमा गेसो केन्द्रीय समितिबाट कुनै निर्णयहरू भएका छन् भने पनि आधिकारिकरूपमा मलाई तत्कालै तिनको जानकारी दिनुहुनसमेत विनम्र अनुरोध गर्दछु।

अन्त्यमा, सभापति गुरुङ र मैले गेसोको नेतृत्वमा गोर्खा आन्दोलनको थालनी गरेर सफलताको यस चुचुरोसम्म पुर्‍याएको कुरा कहिल्यै पनि मेटिने छैन। वहाँको बदनियतले गर्दा विगत एक वर्ष हाम्रा लागि विषाक्त भए तापनि विगतका सुन्दर सात वर्षको अभियानयात्राबारे गेसो परिवार अवगतै छ। तसर्थ जस्तोसुकै परिस्थितिमा पनि गेसोप्रतिको मेरो माया, ममता र आस्था तथा गोर्खा आन्दोलन सम्पूर्णरूपमा नटुङ्गिएसम्म यसप्रति मेरो सक्रिय सहयोग र समर्थन सदा जारी नै रहने कुरा पनि सम्बन्धित सबैमा सहर्ष जानकारी गराउन चाहन्छु।

I think the issue here is about how Mr. Chintan sabotaged GAESO’s ability to win the cases in the British court. Who he loves, who he dates, who he lives with has nothing to do with GAESO. However if he exploited Ms. Urmila to sabotage GAESO then he should be punished legally. We live in a civilized world and we should act accordingly. You can not clap with one palm/hand. That being said I don’t think only he should be condemed of the act. Urmila is some how involved in this. Ms. Urmila should seek help from her parents and other community leaders/members to resolve this issue. Otherwise Mr. Chinten can get away (if he has performed bad conduct) with his acts. Ms. Urmila is old enough to judge wrong and right so she also is liable for this mess however being Mr. Chintan older than her he is more responsible than her. We can not convict anyone until proven guilty.
